Nowadays, we watch many sponsor massages in the TV program for toddles. These sponsor massages introduce high-fat food. According to Susan Conner’s study, high-fat foods account for 82 percent of sponsor on PBS, and 36 percent on Disney’s show for toddles. Besides, the U.S. Federal Communications Commission found child watches two to four hours of television per day. It is same that the child watch about toddles and these high-fat food ads can become the cause of childhood obesity. And then, the ads are said violated viewers’ trust. Therefore, Lea Sloan, PBS spokeswoman, decided to assign a limit that the messages don’t run longer than two minutes, 17 seconds per hour. Besides, the ads can’t do price information, product comparisons, and so on. Meanwhile, other companies also reduced food ads.

Merry Christmas
We have a Christmas Party last night. We made a cake, chicken and kimuti-nave. It was so great time!! We started at 7:00, so we drunk, eat, chat a lot. At first, no one came to dometory but me, so I made Kimuchi-nabe with one exchange student. It was so delicious. And then, we made a cake, and some meal for the party.

Fly Away Home ~ BR 2-18~
I read the book whose tilt was "Fly Away Home". I chose this book because the book cover was so beautiful picture. This was a story of a girl, Amy, and her geese.
Amy was a girl. She lost her mother, and she had to leave her hometown and live with only her father. She really liked her mother, but she wasn't anymore. She was really sad. She didn't like her father because he was a kind of crazy. He tried to fly!!
One day, she found sixteen eaggs of geese. However, there is no adult geese around them. She could understood they lost their parent. She felt sympathy them. She brought the eggs to her home, and started to warm them. After a few days later, the geese were born. She liked them. When she tried to make their nest, her father found what she was doing, but he didn't stpo it. He also liked geese. they started raise them. The geese Amy was their mother, so they always followed Amy.
However, winter would come soon. The geese had to leave the place, but they coldn't because Amy would not leave. They couldn't live the cold place, so Amy dcided to train them to fly. She was sad because she had to separate her geeses. However, she understood the situation. At first, her father tried to make the geeses follow him, but he was not their mother. They follow only Amy. Therefore, Amy had to ride on Aeroplane, made by her father. Then she flew by it, the geeses follow her by flying!! One of the gesses had a problem with his legs, but he practiced with Amy, and he could fly well. After some training, Amy took them to the south. The gesses followed their mother.
It was so tearful story. The relationships between humans and geeses were so wonderful. It might be the movis, so I want to watch it. It may show beautiful view. I can imagine the view only by reading. I want to see it on my own eyes.

I read the famous book, "O. Henry Three Short Stories". I love this book because it is easy to read and there are three heart warming stories. I love the first one the best. It was the story of the Christmas.
There are a couple in the town. Their name were Jim and Dera. They are so poor, but they are happy. However, the Christmas would come soon. Dera wanted to give something great to Jim, but she had not enough money. She has only her long beatiful hair. She charished her hair, but her husband, Jim, was the most important in her life, so she decided to sell her hair. After she cut her hair she felt sad, but she felt proud. She could bought clock chain. Jim had good watch, and she thought it was much with the watch.
She was happy when she went home because she could buy great present. She cooked dinner, it is more gorgeous a little bit than usual. Then, her husband came home. When he looked Dera, he was so surprised because Dera's hair was so short. She explained her situation and gave the present to him. Jim understood everything and laughed. He received the chain from her, but he couldn't put it on to his watch. He didn't have it because he sold it in order to but the present to Dera. He gave her comb!! He liked her long hair. That mean they sold their important things and bought the presents for the others each other. They felt so happy.
It was so great story isn't it? I felt consideration of others is so important. We couldn't lose our important things so easily for others. However, if I can meet the person who I want to do like Dera and Jim, it would be so happy.

I read the book whose title was "STUART LITTLE". Manybe, you know or have ever heard the name. It is famous book!! I found the book, and was interested in the book. Therefore, I read this book.
IStuart was a mouse name. He was funny and enjoy his life with one human family and a cat. Usually, mice and dats have a really bad relationships, but in the case of Stuart and the cat, whose name was Snowbell, are good friends. One day, the family went out, so there were only a mouse and a cat in the house. They wanted to enjoy, so they decided to play the "hide-and-seek" game!! They started the game. Stuart would hide and Snowbell waited until he could hide. However, Snowbell slept during waiting Stuart!!
Stuart hide in a one long vase. he clime the higher place and jumped int the vase. He thought it was good place, but he noticed he couldn't get out of it!! He was so comfused. Onthe other hands, Snowbell waked up, but he forgot what did he do. He wanted go out suddenly, so he went out from the house. Stuart tried to get out of the vase, but he couldn't. He moved around in the vase, and the vase fall down and strated to roll around!! It was on the shelf, so it was so densiorous if it dropped form it!! At that time the cat came home. I read the book whose title was "David and The Giant".
There is a one boy whose name was David in the vilige. He had brabe, he had never afraided of anything. He lived with his father, his older brother, and him. His father had many sheeps. David often played with sheeps. He is also cherished by the God. The God always looked after him.
One day, his brother had to go to fight because David countrty started war with next country. David was too young to fight them, so he could stay at home. One day, he was asked to take some foods to his brother. When he arrived his brother's place, enemy would come soon. There was a Giant at the enemy side. David's country soldiers had to fight with him only one person. Of course no one wanted to fight them. However, David named to fight with the Giant. He was said by the king to fight with a big soard, but he said he didn't need it. He used only his sling, and won!! The enemy ran away. And then, people who live in David country live happily.
I think, the big is not always good. Sometimes, to be big has good point, for example, basketball, valleyball, and soon. However, we can't say the small is not good at doing something. Even if they are small, we can do many things, for examle, move puickly, entering the narrow spaces, and so on. We can use the skill in the various situations. Therefore the story told me like that, I think.

Biscuit Finds a Friends~BR 2-14~
I read this book because I was atractted by this surface. It was so cute. It made me relaxed.
This story was also heart- warming. It was a story of the dog whose name was Biscuit. One girl had the dog. One day Biscuit found something. The girl wandered, and she followed him. He found one baby of duck!! The baby was afraid of them for the first time, but they were so kind, they could become good friends. Biscuit tried to look for the baby's family. They went to the lake. They could find the family, and become the good friends again. They played together all day.
It was not difficult book. After I read the story, I felt happy. It has so cute pictures, so I reccomend to read the book.

I read the book whose title was "The Glenger Bread Boy". It was easy book, but I could enjoy it. I think the bisket bot situation.
There were old couple in the country. They didn't have any children, but they really wanted. One day, the old lady made a boy made by bisket. It was small, but cute boy. When she bake it and take it out from the oven, the boy starts to move!! The old woman tried to hold him, but the boy ran away!! She was very shocked, and ran after him. She said to him "Stop, stop!", but he didn't. People who listen to the old woman followed the bisket boy. He keep running because he was afraid. After that, everyone gave up and the boy can relieved.
One fox found the boy. The fox thought the bisket boy looked so delicious! He wanted to eat him, but the fox didn't it soon. He was so clever. At first, he made the boy believed. The boy was happy, because he was alone. He believed the fox, and finally, he was eaten by the fox.
It seems to sound sad story. Why the boy believed the fox? Maybe he was sad. He thought he was run after by many people. He was really afraid of them. The fox was first animal that was kind to the boy. It made him so happy. I thought he was so pure. It is important to have pure heart. Sometime, we are doubted, but I want to try to believe people as possible as I can.

A Funny Guy ~ BR2-12~
I read "Mr. Bean" this time. All of you know the movie, becaus it is so famous. I like the movie, so I want to read the books and I tried it this time.
Mr. Bean are strnge man. He behave cragy things, and also looks strange. Everyone don't like him. One day poeple sent Mr. Bean to America. People thought they can live peacefully only one week during his trip. Then, Mr.Bean went to America. He had never been there, so he was excited. However, he was nearly arrested at the airport because he teased the police officer. Ater that, he meat his company's connection, but he made many mistakes, but he didn't think it is mistakes.. It is the reason why the story is so funny.
Most of people thought Mr. Bean is a strange man. However, Ithink he jusy have too strong humor. He has quite differrent humor from others. It is not strange. It is is characteristic. Well... if he were in the real world, I am comfused, but it sounds funny. After I read the book, I really want to watch the movie again!!

People thought they can live peacefully only one week during his trip. Then, Mr.Bean went to America. He had never been there, so he was excited. However, he was nearly arrested at the airport because he teased the police officer. Ater that, he meat his company's connection, but he made many mistakes, but he didn't think it is mistakes.. Learning Many Things
Today, a computer is nessesary for our life. There are computers everwhere we go. Therefor we have to know how to use it and use it well. I also use it everyday in the various ways because it is so useful. Besides I learn with the computer at my school. I will explain about my way to use computer.
First, I often use it for my studies. When I write a report, I use Microsoft Word. I have many report every weekend, so I have to it as early as possible. Typing in the computer is faster than when I write on my hands. What's more, I can correct my writing easily if I use the computer. In the case of hand writing, I have to erase my sentences and I have to write same things again. It is waste of time. I can say writing reports with Word is efficient. I use the computer not only when I write reports. I make my blog. It is one of my school assignments in order to improve my writing English skill. Now, I can write English without hesitation. Therefore, I want to say I use the computer for my studies. I learned how to use well Word, and make blog. I mean I can study effectively with using the computer.
Second, I use it for research. I have to research in order to write a good reports. I use the Internet when I research somethings. It is so useful that I research what I don't know. I can get many information with it easily and the information will be much enough to write a report. This is the reason why I use the Internet when I research somethings. Third, I use it for my entertainments. I like to use Facebook. Do you know Facebook? It is social network service site made in America. It is used also in Japan since May, 2008. I can connect with the people who live in other countries. I have many friends such as American, Canadian, British, Sweden, and so on, on the Facebook. I can chat with them, send e-mail join the community. I often upload my photos and share with them. I communicate with many people in English, so it is good training for me. I can learn English with enjoying when I use Facebook with computer.
Fourth, there are many useful applications in the computer. I can practice my typing with Justhome, it is one of software. The practice is a kind of game, so I am not tired of it. I use it and improve my typing speed. After I am used to typing in English, I often use Power Words. It is the game to increase my vocabulary. I is separated by level, so I can start appropriate level. I can check the words that I couldn't answer because records are input in the computer. I can memorised the words smoothly. I mean I can train my typing and vocabulary skill with computer.
Finally, I often spend my free time with computer. I look for interesting video by You-Tube, listen to music, and so on. Sometimes, I learn how to use Excel with the computer because it is basic tool in the computer. I will use it in the future.

Happeninig
Last Sunday, I went downtown. I really wanted to walk around because I wrote five reports, and I was tired to sit and write it. I got off the train at Suizen-zi station, and walked to downtown. It was not harder than I thought. After that, I went Tutaya and some flower shops. I thought I tried to walk around more because I seldom to go there. Therefore I walked around, but after a minutes, I didn't know where I was. Yes, I lost my way!! I was really confused, but I couldn't return because I didn't remember where I came from. I tried to keep walking, and I found the park I know!! Then, I could go back to the bus stop.
However, it is not finish today. After that, I went home by bus. In the bus, I change the money because I need coins, you know. I put the money into the machine, but it didn't receive it!! I tried again and again, but it didn't. The bus driver helped me, and I could change but I embarrassed.
The day was serous day. However, I could enjoy my day-off. It was a little adventure!!

Christmas will come soon
Christmas will come soon, you know!! Will you do something special for the day? I will spend with my friends. Anyway, you can see Christmas color everywhere. Yes, they are red, green, and white. I wonder why are they known as Christmas color?
First, Chrismas Red is color of apples. Christmas is Christ's birthday. When Christ was born, many apples ripened. That is the reason why red is one of Christmas color. Holly fruits is also origin of Christmas Red. Second, Christmas Green is color of the fir tree. Fir tree is regarded as tree of hope and has been cherished by people for a long time. It means color of the fir tree is special color for the people. Finally, Christmas White is color of snow. Of course everyone know it!!
However, Christmas color is not only three. We musn't forget one more clor, gold!! Everyone decolate a gold star on the top of the tree, right? That's why gold is also important color for the ancient people. Gold is the color of star , "Betsurehem", that appeared when Christ was born. The star is simble of nobleness, importance, and so on.

Banana Cake
Last week, I made banana pound cake. It is so easy to make. I want to introduced how to make it. First, you have to prepare hotcake mix 200g, two bananas, 200ml milk, some honey and chocolates, and one egg. You can make two cakes by these metarials.
First, prepare to bake the cake. Heat the oven by 170 degrees. ou should mix these all metarials. You have to mix it until the white pouder disappear. After that, pour it to the figure. Finally, bake it for 40 minuites. After 40 minutes later, try to stick and check whether it is good or not. If it is baked completely, you got it!!
It is so easy to make, you know. Please try to bake the banana cake!!

Smile of Water ~ Writing Essay "Secret of Kumamoto"~
We can always drink delicious water in Kumamoto. When I came to Kumamoto, I was surprised because people can drink the water from the faucet directly. Yes, everyone know water in Kumamoto is so good. However, do you know why does it so delicious?? Many other prefecture don't allow people to drink running water. On the other hand, people who live in Kumamoto can do it. I want to talk about secret of delicious water.
First, Kumamoto's water is underground water. It is including rich mineral. Rain soak into the underground over many years. The rain is purified and percolated through the stratum and become the city water.These process are naturally. It isn't use any medicine. I mean we drink taste of nature!! One of the reason is Kumamoto prefecture's water is 100 % undergraund water, so it is delicious. Besides, there are many sources to store the water such as sira-river source, Kikuchi source, and so on. There are seven sources that was chosen as great place of water in Japan. We can see and taste springwater there. You should go there at least once!
Second, there are many trees and plants in Kumamoto. That is very good for the delicious water. I said the water is store in the underground. The trees and plants are usuful to store the water. Mt Aso can much water for a long time. There are many good tree and plants. More trees there are, more great water is produced.
However, underground water in Kumamoto has decreased gradually. We used the water without intention, but because people think Kumamoto has much enough to use whenever we want. Yes, Kumamoto is called "city of water"often. People tend to misunderstand the water is prodused forever, but it's worng. Water is used more and more everyday. On the other hand, trees have been cut year after year, and they can't store the water enough. It mean underwater can't be produced!! Did you notice about it? Maybe, most of people didn't. We have to care about the water.
If water lost in the world, we couldn't live anymore. Turkey!
Today, I went to the exchange student dormetory after the TOEFL class. The Thanks giving party was held at dorm. When I arrived there, the party had already started. However some food were left. Water of Kumamoto ~ Free writing~
I will talk about water of Kumamoto. Of course, you know the water is do delicious. However, do you know why it is so delicious? I don't know clearly, but I can guess some reasons. A Christmas Carol ~ BR 2-11~
This time, I read a book named "A Christmas Carol". I read this book because Christmas will come soon. I have been interested in this book, but I have waited for the season. Now I read this book and could write the review.
This is a story of one man. His name was Scrooge. He was a greedy man. Money was his life. He had much money, but he wasn't happy. He never used his money. He was a lonely person. The Christmas season came. All of the people liked the day and looked happy except Scrooge. People said to Scrooge "Marry Christmas!!", but he responded to people " Humbug." He had had only one friend before but then he had been dead, so he was alone and hated Christmas.
One day, the ghost appeared. In the surprised, the ghost was Scrooge's friend, Marley!! He told Scrooge he wanted to help Scrooge. However, Scrooge couldn't understand his meaning. Marley said only three ghost would appeared in front of him, and disappeared. And then, three ghost came to Scrooge's. They showed him his past, now and future Christmas. All of Christmas were so sad that he was afraid of his life. He had money, but he was not happy all of Christmas. No one would be sad when he die in the future. He noticed that he couldn't live alone. After that, Christmas day came. He decided to attend the party, and share his money to poor people. Every people could be happy.

"Yes" or "No"
The Iraq war has continued since 2003. It is the war that was started because of 9.11. The American world Trade Center and The Pentagon were damaged by terrorist attacks Public opinions became conservative and George Bush, the American president, ordered on attack to Afghanistan. The war has no signs of finishing. Why doesn’t it finish?
In the movie, there is an important line, “Do you want to win the war, or not?” The Assistant to the President said that winning the war is the real righteousness. However it isn’t true because not all problems are solved through winning. The defected nation will be regarded as an evil country. Economic sanctions will be a serious problem. What’s worse, many people will die. Even if they win the war, the world will not be at peace. It means winning is not right. On the other hand, there is no meaning that all of the problems are solved when they withdraw from the war. America will lose trust and be able to only bow before the authority of Iraq insurgents. Although the war already has continued for a long time, it will be a hopeless war if any issues will be not solved.
What we hope is not winning or losing. We can’t answer clearly, “Yes” or “No”. The student named Ted wavered whether he should do something to change the world or not. Corsage
I made a corsage this time. This is a tryangular coesage. I used five kinds of flowers. The center of the corsage is Toruko-kikyo. It blooms too great, so we cfan't see other flowers from front. We put it on myou chest in the special ceremony such as marage ceremony, coming-age ceremony, and so on. When you but it at the store, it takes more than one thousand yen!! It is so expensive, isn't it?? Maybe cosarge is made carefully one by one. It the reason why corsages are expensive. However, I can make it by myself, so I want to make it when I need one.

My Great Community
I will write about my great community. I was a member of swimming club when I was a high school student. I was used to go to the pool after school. We had swum since April. It was so cold but we had to swim in the cold water. Besides, the training was so hard. However, I didn't quit the club because I loved swimming. I started to learn swimming when I was six years old. I had a dream that I want to swim with dolphins. That's why I started to learn to swim. I mean that I could keep trying because I love swimming!!
The swimming club taught me two important things. At first, your efforts will pay off when you don't give up. I swam so hard at that time. We swam at least for two hours, 2000 meter, in a day after school. Even in April, we got into the water. Of course, it was not easy to finish but we could complete training menu everyday without giving up. All of us set our goals. We really wanted to get best time at the competition. Competition is the change to get new record. We know how glad to get the best time, so we kept effort. Sometimes, we couldn't achieve our purposes, but we could get something else, such as patience, forwardness, and so on. It is the power to go to the next step. It is more important than winning or loosing. I mean never giving up is nessesary thing to grow myself.
Second, The swimming club gave me a lot of friends. My swimming club member was funny and always possitive. If they lost the game, they practiced harder and harder. In the club time, we are good friends, but in the competition, we are rivals.I had to compete with them. We could boost the morale each other. All of friends swam so hard every day, so I could swam every day. I could kept trying because of them.
Most of people think swimming is individual sports, but we have also relay. We need team work in the relay. Even if only one person fail, the team is disqualified. Therefore, we practiced many times together. We encouraged and indicate each other what the bad point is. I could learn about importance of cooperartiopn through swimming training. I mean swimming club member taught me the importance of encouraging each other and cooperation.
In conclusion, I talked about importance of never giving up and friends. These are neccessary things for my life. I could get these tresure in the swimming club. If I were not join the club, my life would be boring. I am not member of swimming club now, but I always work hard to archive my goal without giving up now. Bwsides, I go to eat dinner with the swimming club member sometimes even now. I feel our friendship will have kept forever. I will cherish these tresure in my life all the time.

I will go to Halifax in Canada Do you know Halifax？ What do you know about Canada? Yes, you may know the name, but you don’t know detail. I didn’t know, either but this time I researched about them and I really want to go there early. I will share my information with you.

Canada has constitutional monarchy and federation is held under the parliamentary. The national chief of state is Queen Elizabeth II, but substantial prime minister is chosen as election. Actually, he does Canadian politics. I already said, Canada is so large country, so each states are given autonomy We can say Canadian government is municipality vs federation.
Canadian people speak English and French as official languages. It is set in 1982.
In Quebec, Ontario, New Brunswick states, they speak French. . Many races people live in Canada. English is 28%, French is 23%, the other Europeans 15%. Besides, there are many Asians, Arabs, Africans, and so on.And what important is Canada has chosen as the country which give good effect to all over the world. I was a member of swimming club when I was a high school student. The swimming club is important for my life. I could irreplaceable friends there. They were friends but at the same time, we were good rivals. We practiced togrther all the time, and competed each other. We often hang out together. Training was so hard. We swim at least two kiros and we often stay in a camp for training at school. At that time, we swam 10 kiros in one day. I always wanted to give up, but my friends encouraged me, so I could achive all of training. Of course I am not the member of the club, but I love swimming now!!

Pound cake
I made the chocolate pound cake on Sunday. I made it for the first time, I could make it so easy. Today, I want to explain how to make it.
You have to prepare 100g batter, 50g hotcake mix, 100g cocoa powder, and two eggs. It is not so expencive, is it?? Then, you need some dishes, bowls and mixer. If ouy prepare them, let's make the cake. At first, you have to mix all of materials. Be careful not to make balls. When you erase all of powder, pour the dough to the dishes. What is important before you bake it, you have to wrap it with prastic wrap. And then, start to bake with microwave, 500W and five minutes. That's all!!
It is so easy to bake. It takes about ten minutes. You should try it!!

Tennis
I went to see soft tennis game today. I really enjoy it. The players were high school students, but they hit strong shots and had very good control. It was so high level!! I have played soft tennis, but it was difficult. The ball is so light, so I couldn't hit strong. My ball lost by wind. However, the player played very well. I wondered it.

"Nate The Great Stalks Stupedweed" ~BR2-10~
This time. I read "Nate The Great Stalks Stupedweed", written by Marijorie Weinman SharmaT. This is detective story. It iseasy to read, and so funny. Today, I will talk about it.
I, Nate the great detective was asked to look for Oliver's sick weed. He didn't want to do it, but Oliver would stay there if "I" didn't say yes. "I" started looking for the weed. He asked some question for many strange person. They are strange, so he thought he couldn't get any good information. He wanted more clues. He had a dog, and the dog was so clever. The dog helped him a lot. He could solve the problem because of the dog. That answer was so funny!!
You should read this book. If you like reading detectiove story, you many like it. It was not difficult to read. However, there are many words I don't know. It was good training for me.
