My condition is so bad. I can't stop cough, have a headache, run nose, and so on. But I have to go to the classes of course...
In this semester, I took ten subjects. There are some English class, such as business English, Mass Media English, Honor's seminer English. I will go to Canada to study, so I have to be using to speaking these words. I chose the some classes whose teacher is native speaker, so I hope my listening skill is improved, The class that I especially like is translation class. I have not translate, and don't know about it well. However, translation is one of general job for our department. This is why I took this class. This week, I have a assginment in this class, but it was the first translation for me. It wasn't easy, but I could really enjoy it during the class.
This semester is not easy for me, because I have to improve my skill until I go to Canada. I have not enough. I will do my best!!

Teeeeeest
Tes week is strated!! I have ten subjects for test... Some subjects are really difficult, so I'm nervous now. In test season, everyone is so busy you know. I hope I can do them well, and spring vacation come soon!! However, I have TOEIC test in February, and TOEFL in March. I have to keep trying!!

Coming of Age Day
Yesterday, I went to coming age ceremony in Kumamoto city. Yes, I have belonged to adult since yesterday!! I can't feet that, but I have to behave as an adult since now.
Iwent to the city gym with my friends. Of course, I wore Furisode. You know, we seldom to wear it in our life, right? So, I was happy. Everyone look so nice in Furisode. After the ceremony, I took many pictures with my friends. There are friends who I have not met for a long time. I was glad to see them because I had a lot of things to talk to them, and I could hear many friends' story. Of course, I met university friends and exchange students!! Exchange students also wore Hakama and Kimono. and they looked cool!
After that, I went alumnae meeting, Junior high school's, and see many old friends. Some of them lived in other city, so we can't see them so often. However, I was confused whether I go or not at the first time, because I had been to that school for only one year. I thought most of people didn't know me. But a few people who I know recommend to go there, so I made my mind. It was right decision!! I had a great time there. Of course there were many people who I didn't know, but they became my new friends!! I ate, drunk and chatted a lot.
I have to feel gratitude of my parents. I had a graert time yesterday because of them. It they didn't raise me, I couldn't be twenty. I have to repay for them in my life!!

New Year!!
A happy new year!! How have you been. I was very busy... but had a great time in new years day. Today, I will talk about it!!
On December 31, I invited two exchange students to my house. They had never experienced Japanese New Year life, so I thought it would be great time for them and me. I took them at dometory, and went my house by train. One of exchange student rode train for the first time in Japan. I taought how to buy the ticket, and got on the train. After we arrived my home, we went supermarcket near my house, and bought some foods for dinner. My mother already had cookced some food, but they cooked food that was tradition in thier country. There were many foods on the table, and we could enjoyed many kinds of countrys' food. They were delicious!!
After that, we watched TV, Kouhaku, and enjoyed Japanese songs. They knew some Japanese singer, and liked them. Before the midnight, we ate toshikoshi-soba. Other counrty doesn't have this culture. It is only Japanese habits!! They were interested in the soba, and we stay together at night and did count down!!
In New Years day, we ate Osechi, and watched TV. I explained some foods, and they liked them. After that, we went to Youme-town and bought some Good Luck Bag. There were many good clothes. We sutisfyed and went dometory.

Merry Christmas
We have a Christmas Party last night. We made a cake, chicken and kimuti-nave. It was so great time!! We started at 7:00, so we drunk, eat, chat a lot. At first, no one came to dometory but me, so I made Kimuchi-nabe with one exchange student. It was so delicious. And then, we made a cake, and some meal for the party.

So cooool!!
Do you know Black Eye Peas? They are good singer group, so you may know their songs at least one. This movie is one of their famous song, whose title is "Pump it". Learning Many Things
Today, a computer is nessesary for our life. There are computers everwhere we go. Therefor we have to know how to use it and use it well. I also use it everyday in the various ways because it is so useful. Besides I learn with the computer at my school. I will explain about my way to use computer.
First, I often use it for my studies. When I write a report, I use Microsoft Word. I have many report every weekend, so I have to it as early as possible. Typing in the computer is faster than when I write on my hands. What's more, I can correct my writing easily if I use the computer. In the case of hand writing, I have to erase my sentences and I have to write same things again. It is waste of time. I can say writing reports with Word is efficient. I use the computer not only when I write reports. I make my blog. It is one of my school assignments in order to improve my writing English skill. Now, I can write English without hesitation. Therefore, I want to say I use the computer for my studies. I learned how to use well Word, and make blog. I mean I can study effectively with using the computer.
Second, I use it for research. I have to research in order to write a good reports. I use the Internet when I research somethings. It is so useful that I research what I don't know. I can get many information with it easily and the information will be much enough to write a report. This is the reason why I use the Internet when I research somethings. However, there are too much information. Some of them is not true. We have to be careful to get information with the Internet. It is not good for you that you use the information without knowing whether it is true or not. You have to judge you can believe it or not. Therefor I can say, the Internet is so useful to get information what you don't know, but you have to judge whether you can say that is true, or not.
Third, I use it for my entertainments. I like to use Facebook. Do you know Facebook? It is social network service site made in America. It is used also in Japan since May, 2008. I can connect with the people who live in other countries. I have many friends such as American, Canadian, British, Sweden, and so on, on the Facebook. I can chat with them, send e-mail join the community. I often upload my photos and share with them. I communicate with many people in English, so it is good training for me. I can learn English with enjoying when I use Facebook with computer.
Fourth, there are many useful applications in the computer. I can practice my typing with Justhome, it is one of software. The practice is a kind of game, so I am not tired of it. I use it and improve my typing speed. After I am used to typing in English, I often use Power Words. It is the game to increase my vocabulary. I is separated by level, so I can start appropriate level. I can check the words that I couldn't answer because records are input in the computer. I can memorised the words smoothly. I mean I can train my typing and vocabulary skill with computer.
Finally, I often spend my free time with computer. I look for interesting video by You-Tube, listen to music, and so on. Sometimes, I learn how to use Excel with the computer because it is basic tool in the computer. I will use it in the future.

Happeninig
Last Sunday, I went downtown. I really wanted to walk around because I wrote five reports, and I was tired to sit and write it. I got off the train at Suizen-zi station, and walked to downtown. It was not harder than I thought. After that, I went Tutaya and some flower shops. I thought I tried to walk around more because I seldom to go there. Therefore I walked around, but after a minutes, I didn't know where I was. Yes, I lost my way!! I was really confused, but I couldn't return because I didn't remember where I came from. I tried to keep walking, and I found the park I know!! Then, I could go back to the bus stop.
However, it is not finish today. After that, I went home by bus. In the bus, I change the money because I need coins, you know. I put the money into the machine, but it didn't receive it!! I tried again and again, but it didn't. The bus driver helped me, and I could change but I embarrassed.
The day was serous day. However, I could enjoy my day-off. It was a little adventure!!

This weekend, I am sooooo busy. First, I had TOEIC test in Saturday morning. I had to study for it. Secound I have many reports now. I have five reports that I have to finish!! Christmas will come soon
Christmas will come soon, you know!! Will you do something special for the day? I will spend with my friends. Anyway, you can see Christmas color everywhere. Yes, they are red, green, and white. I wonder why are they known as Christmas color?
First, Chrismas Red is color of apples. Christmas is Christ's birthday. When Christ was born, many apples ripened. That is the reason why red is one of Christmas color. Holly fruits is also origin of Christmas Red. Second, Christmas Green is color of the fir tree. Fir tree is regarded as tree of hope and has been cherished by people for a long time. It means color of the fir tree is special color for the people. Finally, Christmas White is color of snow. Of course everyone know it!!
However, Christmas color is not only three. We musn't forget one more clor, gold!! Everyone decolate a gold star on the top of the tree, right? That's why gold is also important color for the ancient people. Gold is the color of star , "Betsurehem", that appeared when Christ was born. The star is simble of nobleness, importance, and so on.

Banana Cake
Last week, I made banana pound cake. It is so easy to make. I want to introduced how to make it. First, you have to prepare hotcake mix 200g, two bananas, 200ml milk, some honey and chocolates, and one egg. You can make two cakes by these metarials.
First, prepare to bake the cake. Heat the oven by 170 degrees. ou should mix these all metarials. You have to mix it until the white pouder disappear. After that, pour it to the figure. Finally, bake it for 40 minuites. After 40 minutes later, try to stick and check whether it is good or not. If it is baked completely, you got it!!
It is so easy to make, you know. Please try to bake the banana cake!!

Turkey!
Today, I went to the exchange student dormetory after the TOEFL class. The Thanks giving party was held at dorm. When I arrived there, the party had already started. However some food were left. Then, there was a turkey!! I had never seen it before. I wa really surprised when I saw it. An exchange student bought it in Fukuoka for only thanks giving. I learned thanks giving day is really important for them. I tried the turkey, and it was soooooo dlicious!! I was really happy to eat it. Thanks giving day is great cross cultural event, I thought.

"Yes" or "No"
The Iraq war has continued since 2003. It is the war that was started because of 9.11. The American world Trade Center and The Pentagon were damaged by terrorist attacks Public opinions became conservative and George Bush, the American president, ordered on attack to Afghanistan. The war has no signs of finishing. Why doesn’t it finish?
In the movie, there is an important line, “Do you want to win the war, or not?” The Assistant to the President said that winning the war is the real righteousness. However it isn’t true because not all problems are solved through winning. The defected nation will be regarded as an evil country. Economic sanctions will be a serious problem. What’s worse, many people will die. Even if they win the war, the world will not be at peace. It means winning is not right. On the other hand, there is no meaning that all of the problems are solved when they withdraw from the war. America will lose trust and be able to only bow before the authority of Iraq insurgents. Although the war already has continued for a long time, it will be a hopeless war if any issues will be not solved.
What we hope is not winning or losing. We can’t answer clearly, “Yes” or “No”. The student named Ted wavered whether he should do something to change the world or not. Actually we will never make mistakes when we do nothing. However, is it right? No one can judge it. We can’t choose both Yes and No. That’s why the war doesn’t finish. People should be interested in it more, and face this serious problem.

Corsage
I made a corsage this time. This is a tryangular coesage. I used five kinds of flowers. The center of the corsage is Toruko-kikyo. It blooms too great, so we cfan't see other flowers from front. We put it on myou chest in the special ceremony such as marage ceremony, coming-age ceremony, and so on. When you but it at the store, it takes more than one thousand yen!! It is so expensive, isn't it?? Maybe cosarge is made carefully one by one. It the reason why corsages are expensive. However, I can make it by myself, so I want to make it when I need one.

About Halifax
I will go to Halifax in Canada Do you know Halifax？ What do you know about Canada? Yes, you may know the name, but you don’t know detail. I didn’t know, either but this time I researched about them and I really want to go there early. I will share my information with you.
At first, I have to explain Canada because Halifax is in Canada, you know. The capital in Canada is Ottawa. Canada has many big cities. The biggest city is Toronto. The area is more than 9 million square km It is thirty times larger than Japan’s area. However, population is not so much. I is about 32 million because it is too cold to live northern place. In Toronto, there are one-sixth people live. The geology of Canada is interesting. Canada occupies the half of north in the New Continent. There are United States in South and West side of Canada. In the east side, there is Atlantic Ocean. Besides, there is Arctic Ocean in the north.
Canada has constitutional monarchy and federation is held under the parliamentary. The national chief of state is Queen Elizabeth II, but substantial prime minister is chosen as election. Actually, he does Canadian politics. I already said, Canada is so large country, so each states are given autonomy We can say Canadian government is municipality vs federation.
Canadian people speak English and French as official languages. It is set in 1982.
In Quebec, Ontario, New Brunswick states, they speak French. . Many races people live in Canada. English is 28%, French is 23%, the other Europeans 15%. Besides, there are many Asians, Arabs, Africans, and so on.And what important is Canada has chosen as the country which give good effect to all over the world. I mean Canada is friendly country and many people love Canada.
Next, I will talk about Canadian Culture. Canada don’t have their own culture, but the culture is interesting. It was made by mixing many cultures. I said many races people live in Canada. That’s why Canadian culture is fusion of various cultures. I have to introduce important literature. It is Anne of Green GablesJapanese title is 赤毛のアン.

Well, Canada has many heritage there are five cultural heritages and six natural heritages. Besides, two heritages are shared with the United States. I list the heritages, so please check them on your print.
Then, I want to talk about Halifax. Halifax is state capital in Novascoacia State. It was set on April 1st 1996 as Halifax Regional Municipality. Halifax’s Motto is Wealth from the sea. Yes, Halifax is port city. It is not big, but there are many nature and beautiful sea. However, there is so cold place. The temperature has amount to
Halifax is famous for Victim of Titanic, .Maritime Museum of the Atlantic, Halifax Citadel National Historic Site, and Saint Mary’s University. I want to introduce a few things.
First Saint Mary’s university is so great university. There are many students from all over the world. 14.4% students are exchange students. The area is not so large compare with other university in Canada, but there are many useful systems in the university. For example, we can go to the gym through the tonal without going gout side from dormitory. Even if it is winter, we don’t need pass outside. Modern equipments are used in this university.
And then, I want to introduce Halifax Citadel National Historic Site. Halifax is one of the first city that English people arrived in 1749. After that, England and French fought to get the religion. This place was important place for the English-French war.
I mean this is so important structure in these days. It is one of traditional things in Halifax. People can’t build the building that is higher than Citadel. That show many people save the structure.

Well, Canada has many heritage there are five cultural heritages and six natural heritages. Besides, two heritages are shared with the United States. I list the heritages, so please check them on your print.
Then, I want to talk about Halifax. Halifax is state capital in Novascoacia State. It was set on April 1st 1996 as Halifax Regional Municipality. Halifax’s Motto is Wealth from the sea. Yes, Halifax is port city. It is not big, but there are many nature and beautiful sea. However, there is so cold place. The temperature has amount to
Halifax is famous for Victim of Titanic, .Maritime Museum of the Atlantic, Halifax Citadel National Historic Site, and Saint Mary’s University. I want to introduce a few things.
First Saint Mary’s university is so great university. There are many students from all over the world. 14.4% students are exchange students. The area is not so large compare with other university in Canada, but there are many useful systems in the university. For example, we can go to the gym through the tonal without going gout side from dormitory. Even if it is winter, we don’t need pass outside. Modern equipments are used in this university.
And then, I want to introduce Halifax Citadel National Historic Site. Halifax is one of the first city that English people arrived in 1749. After that, England and French fought to get the religion. This place was important place for the English-French war.
I mean this is so important structure in these days. It is one of traditional things in Halifax. People can’t build the building that is higher than Citadel. That show many people save the structure.
Most of people don't know about Halifax. I want to interested in there because Halifax is so good city. There are many historical things and mordan structure stay there together. I am glad to be able to study there. It is not easy, I know, but I want to enjoy there!!

Pound cake
I made the chocolate pound cake on Sunday. I made it for the first time, I could make it so easy. Today, I want to explain how to make it.
You have to prepare 100g batter, 50g hotcake mix, 100g cocoa powder, and two eggs. It is not so expencive, is it?? Then, you need some dishes, bowls and mixer. If ouy prepare them, let's make the cake. At first, you have to mix all of materials. Be careful not to make balls. When you erase all of powder, pour the dough to the dishes. What is important before you bake it, you have to wrap it with prastic wrap. And then, start to bake with microwave, 500W and five minutes. That's all!!
It is so easy to bake. It takes about ten minutes. You should try it!!

Tennis
I went to see soft tennis game today. I really enjoy it. The players were high school students, but they hit strong shots and had very good control. It was so high level!! I have played soft tennis, but it was difficult. The ball is so light, so I couldn't hit strong. My ball lost by wind. However, the player played very well. I wondered it.

"Nate The Great Stalks Stupedweed" ~BR2-10~
This time. I read "Nate The Great Stalks Stupedweed", written by Marijorie Weinman SharmaT. This is detective story. It iseasy to read, and so funny. Today, I will talk about it.
I, Nate the great detective was asked to look for Oliver's sick weed. He didn't want to do it, but Oliver would stay there if "I" didn't say yes. "I" started looking for the weed. He asked some question for many strange person. They are strange, so he thought he couldn't get any good information. He wanted more clues. He had a dog, and the dog was so clever. The dog helped him a lot. He could solve the problem because of the dog. That answer was so funny!!
You should read this book. If you like reading detectiove story, you many like it. It was not difficult to read. However, there are many words I don't know. It was good training for me.

About Iraq War ~MR~
I watched the movie whose title is " Lions for Lambs". This movie was really difficult, but I have to think about the war.
I want to explain about the story. First, there were three situations. One is in the presidential aide's room. Presidential aide and a woman who was a journalist are talked about new policy of the war. Presidential aide said it is important for America to win. She had some doubts to him, so continued the interview. Next is field in Afghanistan. Two students go there and fight in the dangerous place. They had big dream and tried the country. However, they couldn't achieve it, because they were killed by the enemy. Third situation was professor's office. The professor , who was the teacher of two student fighting in other place, called his lazy bt clever students and talked to him how to live.
After watching this movie, we have to think wether what is right or not. It was really difficult and serious. People always feel fear because of terror. I think we don't have to turn away the big problems. I hope the terrible war finish as soon as possible.
