Fly Away Home ~ BR 2-18~

I read the book whose tilt was "Fly Away Home". I chose this book because the book cover was so beautiful picture. This was a story of a girl, Amy, and her geese.

Amy was a girl. She lost her mother, and she had to leave her hometown and live with only her father. She really liked her mother, but she wasn't anymore. She was really sad. She didn't like her father because he was a kind of crazy. He tried to fly!!

One day, she found sixteen eaggs of geese. However, there is no adult geese around them. She could understood they lost their parent. She felt sympathy them. She brought the eggs to her home, and started to warm them. After a few days later, the geese were born. She liked them. When she tried to make their nest, her father found what she was doing, but he didn't stpo it. He also liked geese. they started raise them. The geese Amy was their mother, so they always followed Amy.

However, winter would come soon. The geese had to leave the place, but they coldn't because Amy would not leave. They couldn't live the cold place, so Amy dcided to train them to fly. She was sad because she had to separate her geeses. However, she understood the situation. At first, her father tried to make the geeses follow him, but he was not their mother. They follow only Amy. Therefore, Amy had to ride on Aeroplane, made by her father. Then she flew by it, the geeses follow her by flying!! One of the gesses had a problem with his legs, but he practiced with Amy, and he could fly well. After some training, Amy took them to the south. The gesses followed their mother.

It was so tearful story. The relationships between humans and geeses were so wonderful. It might be the movis, so I want to watch it. It may show beautiful view. I can imagine the view only by reading. I want to see it on my own eyes.

O. Henry ~ BR 2-17~

I read the famous book, "O. Henry Three Short Stories". I love this book because it is easy to read and there are three heart warming stories. I love the first one the best. It was the story of the Christmas.

There are a couple in the town. Their name were Jim and Dera. They are so poor, but they are happy. However, the Christmas would come soon. Dera wanted to give something great to Jim, but she had not enough money. She has only her long beatiful hair. She charished her hair, but her husband, Jim, was the most important in her life, so she decided to sell her hair. After she cut her hair she felt sad, but she felt proud. She could bought clock chain. Jim had good watch, and she thought it was much with the watch.

She was happy when she went home because she could buy great present. She cooked dinner, it is more gorgeous a little bit than usual. Then, her husband came home. When he looked Dera, he was so surprised because Dera's hair was so short. She explained her situation and gave the present to him. Jim understood everything and laughed. He received the chain from her, but he couldn't put it on to his watch. He didn't have it because he sold it in order to but the present to Dera. He gave her comb!! He liked her long hair. That mean they sold their important things and bought the presents for the others each other. They felt so happy.

It was so great story isn't it? I felt consideration of others is so important. We couldn't lose our important things so easily for others. However, if I can meet the person who I want to do like Dera and Jim, it would be so happy.

STUART LITTLE ~BR 2-16~

I read the book whose title was "STUART LITTLE". Manybe, you know or have ever heard the name. It is famous book!! I found the book, and was interested in the book. Therefore, I read this book.

IStuart was a mouse name. He was funny and enjoy his life with one human family and a cat. Usually, mice and dats have a really bad relationships, but in the case of Stuart and the cat, whose name was Snowbell, are good friends. One day, the family went out, so there were only a mouse and a cat in the house. They wanted to enjoy, so they decided to play the "hide-and-seek" game!! They started the game. Stuart would hide and Snowbell waited until he could hide. However, Snowbell slept during waiting Stuart!!

Stuart hide in a one long vase. he clime the higher place and jumped int the vase. He thought it was good place, but he noticed he couldn't get out of it!! He was so comfused. Onthe other hands, Snowbell waked up, but he forgot what did he do. He wanted go out suddenly, so he went out from the house. Stuart tried to get out of the vase, but he couldn't. He moved around in the vase, and the vase fall down and strated to roll around!! It was on the shelf, so it was so densiorous if it dropped form it!! At that time the cat came home. Snowbell noticed he was hungry, so he wanted to eat something before he went out. And then, he heard Stuart's voice. He looked up the shelf, he found Stuart in the vase and he almost drapped with the vase!! Snowbell could catch it before it dropped. Stuart was saved!! After that, they become good friends more than before.

I read the book whose title was "David and The Giant".

There is a one boy whose name was David in the vilige. He had brabe, he had never afraided of anything. He lived with his father, his older brother, and him. His father had many sheeps. David often played with sheeps. He is also cherished by the God. The God always looked after him.

One day, his brother had to go to fight because David countrty started war with next country. David was too young to fight them, so he could stay at home. One day, he was asked to take some foods to his brother. When he arrived his brother's place, enemy would come soon. There was a Giant at the enemy side. David's country soldiers had to fight with him only one person. Of course no one wanted to fight them. However, David named to fight with the Giant. He was said by the king to fight with a big soard, but he said he didn't need it. He used only his sling, and won!! The enemy ran away. And then, people who live in David country live happily.

I think, the big is not always good. Sometimes, to be big has good point, for example, basketball, valleyball, and soon. However, we can't say the small is not good at doing something. Even if they are small, we can do many things, for examle, move puickly, entering the narrow spaces, and so on. We can use the skill in the various situations. Therefore the story told me like that, I think.

Biscuit Finds a Friends~BR 2-14~

I read this book because I was atractted by this surface. It was so cute. It made me relaxed.

This story was also heart- warming. It was a story of the dog whose name was Biscuit. One girl had the dog. One day Biscuit found something. The girl wandered, and she followed him. He found one baby of duck!! The baby was afraid of them for the first time, but they were so kind, they could become good friends. Biscuit tried to look for the baby's family. They went to the lake. They could find the family, and become the good friends again. They played together all day.

It was not difficult book. After I read the story, I felt happy. It has so cute pictures, so I reccomend to read the book.

I read the book whose title was "The Glenger Bread Boy". It was easy book, but I could enjoy it. I think the bisket bot situation.

There were old couple in the country. They didn't have any children, but they really wanted. One day, the old lady made a boy made by bisket. It was small, but cute boy. When she bake it and take it out from the oven, the boy starts to move!! The old woman tried to hold him, but the boy ran away!! She was very shocked, and ran after him. She said to him "Stop, stop!", but he didn't. People who listen to the old woman followed the bisket boy. He keep running because he was afraid. After that, everyone gave up and the boy can relieved.

One fox found the boy. The fox thought the bisket boy looked so delicious! He wanted to eat him, but the fox didn't it soon. He was so clever. At first, he made the boy believed. The boy was happy, because he was alone. He believed the fox, and finally, he was eaten by the fox.

It seems to sound sad story. Why the boy believed the fox? Maybe he was sad. He thought he was run after by many people. He was really afraid of them. The fox was first animal that was kind to the boy. It made him so happy. I thought he was so pure. It is important to have pure heart. Sometime, we are doubted, but I want to try to believe people as possible as I can.

A Funny Guy ~ BR2-12~

I read "Mr. Bean" this time. All of you know the movie, becaus it is so famous. I like the movie, so I want to read the books and I tried it this time.

Mr. Bean are strnge man. He behave cragy things, and also looks strange. Everyone don't like him. One day poeple sent Mr. Bean to America. People thought they can live peacefully only one week during his trip. Then, Mr.Bean went to America. He had never been there, so he was excited. However, he was nearly arrested at the airport because he teased the police officer. Ater that, he meat his company's connection, but he made many mistakes, but he didn't think it is mistakes.. It is the reason why the story is so funny.

Most of people thought Mr. Bean is a strange man. However, Ithink he jusy have too strong humor. He has quite differrent humor from others. It is not strange. It is is characteristic. Well... if he were in the real world, I am comfused, but it sounds funny. After I read the book, I really want to watch the movie again!!

A Christmas Carol ~ BR 2-11~

This time, I read a book named "A Christmas Carol". I read this book because Christmas will come soon. I have been interested in this book, but I have waited for the season. Now I read this book and could write the review.

This is a story of one man. His name was Scrooge. He was a greedy man. Money was his life. He had much money, but he wasn't happy. He never used his money. He was a lonely person. The Christmas season came. All of the people liked the day and looked happy except Scrooge. People said to Scrooge "Marry Christmas!!", but he responded to people " Humbug." He had had only one friend before but then he had been dead, so he was alone and hated Christmas.

One day, the ghost appeared. In the surprised, the ghost was Scrooge's friend, Marley!! He told Scrooge he wanted to help Scrooge. However, Scrooge couldn't understand his meaning. Marley said only three ghost would appeared in front of him, and disappeared. And then, three ghost came to Scrooge's. They showed him his past, now and future Christmas. All of Christmas were so sad that he was afraid of his life. He had money, but he was not happy all of Christmas. No one would be sad when he die in the future. He noticed that he couldn't live alone. After that, Christmas day came. He decided to attend the party, and share his money to poor people. Every people could be happy.

You know, Christmas is special day. It is a good chance to realize how important family, friends, and so on is. I want to spend the time with them and say thanks. Family and friends are my treasure. I think I mustn't forget feeling of gratitude to them.

"Nate The Great Stalks Stupedweed" ~BR2-10~

This time. I read "Nate The Great Stalks Stupedweed", written by Marijorie Weinman SharmaT. This is detective story. It iseasy to read, and so funny. Today, I will talk about it.

I, Nate the great detective was asked to look for Oliver's sick weed. He didn't want to do it, but Oliver would stay there if "I" didn't say yes. "I" started looking for the weed. He asked some question for many strange person. They are strange, so he thought he couldn't get any good information. He wanted more clues. He had a dog, and the dog was so clever. The dog helped him a lot. He could solve the problem because of the dog. That answer was so funny!!

You should read this book. If you like reading detectiove story, you many like it. It was not difficult to read. However, there are many words I don't know. It was good training for me.

The Jumping Frog ~BR 2-09~

Do you know Mark Twain? Maybe, you have heard at least once, because he is so famous. This time, I read his book, " The Jumping Frog". Most of his book is short story. In "The Jumping Frog", there are a few stories. I will talk about "The Clelbrated Jumping Frog of Calaveras Country".

This is a story of a man named Jim Smily. He was good at betting money. He always bet money on anything that happened at the mining camp, and won.He had many animals and they are unusual animals. He won the betting by using the animals. One day, he found the frog. The frog jumped higher than any other frogs, that Jim had ever seen. He got the frog, and started the gamble. The frog, named Daniel, always won th jumping race.However, one stranger came to mining camp. He tried to win the betting,and he had the frog eaten shotgun pellets in the Daniel mouth!! The frog couldn't jump high because of his bad health, and stranger won. Smiley noticed the truth after that, but it was too late. This was end of the story.

I thought end of story was so unique. It said, " I didn't really want to hear anouther story about Simily's bets, so I got up from my chair and left." Maybe Mark Twain was funny person. This story was not happy ending, but so funny. I liked so much.This ending was unusual for me!!

"The Last of the Mohicans" ~BR2-08~

This time, I read "The Last of the Mohicans". I chose this book because I have watched this movie before, so I was interested in the book. I could find that the story was defferent from movie. However, I like this one, too.

There are many people in this book. Uncas, the last of the Mohicans, Hawkeye, Chingachgook, Cora, Alice, Heyward, the Hurons, and so on. Hawkeye is main in this story. He is brother of Uncus, but they are not real brothers. Chingachgook was chif of the Mohicans, and Uncas is his only one son. Cora and Alice were British women and they were daughters of British colonel. They were with Major Heyward. He loved Alice. The Hurons hate British and they trie to kill them.

In those days, British and Franch did war to get the American land. Colonel stayed the Fort Henry and lead British army. Major Heyward and Cora and Alice walked in the forest with Magua, one of the Huron, because they need to gaide to meet women's father. However, Magua betrayed them and tried to kill them. The Mohicans helped them at that time, and they went toward Fort Henry. During the jurney, they frought with the Hurons many times. However the women could meet their father. One day, British and Franch had a meeting and British army had to leave the Fort Henry. They couldn't win the war. During moving to next land, Cora and Alice were gotten away by the Hurons. Magua want to get marry with Cola, but she hated him. Magua got angry and he tried to kill everyone. She decided to go with Magua, but Uncus tried to stop it because he loves her. However, Cora and Uncas were killed by the Hurons. Then, Hawkeye shout with angry, and fought with the Hurons. They were not real brothers, but they had good relationship. As the result, they could servive, but two great lives were lost.

This was really sad story, but I think, Cora and Uncas might be happy. Cora was save by Uncsa fainaly. Uncus was loved by Cora, too. Therefore, it was sad story but they were happy. The Mohicans couldn't live in the new generations, but their lives were great. They were honest and brave. I think they had means their lives.

Five Famous Fairy Tales ~BR 2-07~

This time, I read "Five Famous Fairy Tales". This book has five short story. All of them are happy ending, so I really became happy after I read this book. I want to inroduce one of these story.

One is "The Talble, the Donkey, and the Stick". This book was written by Jacob and Wilhelm. they are brother. Their stories are wonderful! There are a women and her sons, named Tom, Bob, and Jack. They are ppor so three sons have to go work. Tom and Bob work hard each place and the master gave them masic tools. Tom got a masic table. When he said the spell, many food appeared. Bob got a masic Donkwy. If he said the spell, many money appeared from the donkey. However, both of them were rodded their tresures. They told their brother about it. Jack also work hard and he got a masic stick. When he said the spell, the stick hit his enemy automatically. Then, he found the robber who stole his brothers' tresure. He attacked the robber, and got three masic tools. He brought thm to his hometown, and live with his family happily.

THis story told me that don't put on airs. Two bigger brothers show off their tool. And then he robbed them. There is a Japanese proverb that "clever hawk hide his nails". In English is "Still water run deep". If you have good skill, or good atemes, don't be haughtly. Besides, of course, this story said you are tied for if you do bad actions. These are natural to live as a human, so it is so important. We shoud not forget about it.

Babe~Pig in the City~ BR2-06

This time, I read "Babe ~ Pig in the City~. Of course, everyone knows Babe ~ the sheep pig~. This book is the second one. This is story after Babe became the true sheep pig. I have read the first one before, and I like it very much. That is the reason why I read this book.

Babe lived in the farm happily. He became a great sheep pig, and his friends are good for him. However, it didn't continue for a long time. Babe wasn't always carefully. One day, he went near the well with his muster. And than, Babe fell down into the well with his muster!! Babe fell on the Mr. Hoggett's head and Mr. Hoggett got hurts. He couldn't work for a while. His wife worked hard instead of him, but it was not enough. Two man who were banker came to the farm, and demanded the money that they borrowed in the past. They had to sell their important pig, Babe, for the farm. Mrs Hoggett, who was the wife of the farmer, made her mind to go to the city with Babe in order to save the pig.

The wife and Babe went to the city for the first time. They didn't know anything. They could take the plane, but when they through the gate, it was happened. The drug finder dog find the pig and he called the detectives. They misunderstood, and they thought the woman had the drug. You know, it was not true. They made released soon, but they couldn't ride the next plane. They had to stay the city for two days. They could fine the hotel where they could stay with. However, they made separated because of the animals that stayed in the hotel. The animals were frosty and mean. They told Babe that nobody helps him in the city. Babe was sad because he couldn't meet his muster and know what he should do.

Most of animals were not kind, but Babe was always kind to everyone. He helps the life of dogs which try to kill Babe, so every animals accept the pig. Babe wanted to meet his muster, so many animals try yo find her. There are many things happened, they finally find hotel Babe stayed at first. The party held at that time, but the many animals entered the party. Every people confused and panicked. They try to catch Babe, so Mrs Hoggett couldn't see her pig. Babe also tried to run toward the Boss's wife. Finally they could meet again.As the result, the animals that stayed at the hotel moved to the farm, and the farmer could repayed their money.

Babe was still kind and friendly pig. He always think about the other persons at first. If it was dangerous, he could faced it. He had never run away. That is why Babe has been loved by many people, I think. To do somethings for other people is not easy, but we should try it. The small things is OK. When it is collected many, it become the big power.

I read "David Cooperfield" written by Charles Dickens. This is a story about a man whose name David Copperfield. This book told his life. There are many things happened in his life. I will talk about it.

Before he was born, his father had already been dead. His mother live with servant whose name is Peggoty. His mother and Peggoty were kind persons. They hoped a baby, and didn't care about a boy or a girl. However, Aunt Besty hoped that baby would be a girl because she didn't like a boy because of her past. But, you know, the baby was David, that means a boy. Therefore he couldn't his aunt for a long time, but he had a mother and Prggoty. He was so happy.

One day, Mr Murdstone got marry with David's mother. He hated David. Mr. Murdstone has a sister, and she also hated David. Soon, David's mother were ill and were dead. Mr. and Miss Murdstone turned out Peggoty. David was worked at town as a servant. It was so hard. He ran away from the master. And then, he dicided to go seeing his aunt who hate a boy. He had no money, so he had to go there on his foot. It took for a few days. When he arrived at his aunt house, he was tired and hungry. His aunt was surprised seeing the boy, but she helped him. She didn't like a boy, but actually, she was kind and gentle woman. She grew the boy. David decided to be a lowyer for his aunt at that time.

After that, many things were happened. It is too many to talk. For example, money problem, marrige problem, friendship problem, and so on. I want to say that he had to overcome many issues. He went forward step by step. He was a kind and gentle man like his mother. He worked hard for his aunt, gave the advises for his friends, faced with bad people without running away. Therefore, he could solved all problems. Finally, he got marry and be happy.

David kept trying for his friends and family. It is important to do something for my precious persons. It is limited what I can do. However, even if it is small things, that is better than doing nothing. I will do something for my precious person in daily life. It is my feeling of gratirude.

Wicked and Humorous Tales ~BR 2-04~

I read "Wicked and Humorous Tales." This title is one of the title of story. I mean there are many stories in this book. Most of story was sad, but there are also interesting story. So, I will introduced a story that I liked.

At first, i will talk about "The Open Window." This is a story about a nervous man. His name is Framton Nutten. He was too nervous about everything. He was told to rest by his doctor. Therefor, he decided to live country side alone. However, his sister said that is not good for himself to live alone. She said he should live with neighbers. He didn't want to go there, but he obeyed his sister. After he moved, he had to meet his neighber soon. He would see Mrd Sappleton, but when he was at her ahouse, she wasn't there. Instead of her, her niece, Vera, talked with him. He was so nervous to conversate, but he couldn't go back home. Vera talked about her aunt. Mrs Sappleton was sad lady because her lost her husband and two brothers. However, she believed they must be came home. So, she wait for hem with opening the big window that they left from. Framton felt sad. After Mrs Sapplenton came home, she told about her husband and brothers. He thought she was so sad lady. Then, three man came back her home!! That was her husband and brothers. However, nobody was surprised but Framton. Framton was so scary, so he ran away without saying anything. He thought he saw a ghost. However, in fact the sad story was not true. Vera was specialist to making stories.

This story was funny. This story is made use of too nervous man. Franton was afraid and nervous as soon as hearing the story. But the story was lie!! The others story also have humour.
You should read this book.

MR "The Notebook"

This time, I will write about "The Notebook". Japanese title is "Kimi ni yomu monogatari". I really moved this story. This movie was sad, but heart-warming. You can not help moving to tears, I think.

First, I will explain about story.There are a old woman in the hospital. She lost her memories. Then, there are a man who go to same hospital regularly. He read one love story for her. The women have not hear the story but she felt she know that story.

Here is the story. There was young lady who is rich and genius. Her name was Ally.She will go to first-class university. At the same time, there was a young man whose name was Noa. He was not rich, and he worked at field. They met at amusement park for the first time. Noa fell in love and approached to her. At first, Ally didn't like him because he came on strong. However, he was free and he really loved her. Therefore she also fascinated with him. They stayed together one summer. They were happy. They promised that Noa built his own white house and lived there with Ally. However, Ally had to go far because she would go to university. Besides her parents wanted Ally to saparate with Noa, because Noa was poor. Her parents took her to hometown. Ally and Noa separated without saying anything.

Noa didn't give up. He kept writing letters every day for 365 days. However, the letters didn't arrived her. After a year, finally he gave up, and they had not seen each other for a long time. One day Ally found the newspapre that was written about Noa's house. He built his white house. She had already engaged with the other man, Ron, at that time, but she really wanted to see him. She went to his house, and they met again. Her mother follwed her and told her to go back. In fact her mother stopped Noa's letter. Ally knew all truth. She had to choose, Noa or Ron.And then she made her mind...

The old man stopped reading here. The old woman wanted to read the last. However, she noticed about one things. She knew this story. Because this is her own story!! I mean the old man was Noa and the old woman was Ally. She remembered all of her life. But it was a moment. She forgot about it soon. Noa was so sad because She forgot about him soon. One night, he went to her and talked with her. At that time, she remembered him. Then they slept together with holding their each hands. Next morning a nurse found them. They were dead. However, they looked so happy.

I think, they loved each other. So, Noa could read the story again and again for her. He must have been sad. If I am forgotten by my important person, I'm really shocked. Noa didn't give up. Therefore, miracle was happened. I learned that it will be happened because people keep believing. I read this book, too. Both of movie and book are really interesting. I can reccomend it to everyone.

Short Stories ~BR 2-03~

This time, I read "Short Stories". This book was written by Oscar Wilde's. He is a famous wirter in the world, and I like his stories. I have never read this book, so I try to read it. You know from the title, this book include a few stories.

First story was "The young king." There are a king but he has only a daughter. She got marry with ordinary man, and have a boy. The boy will be a king. When the boy wen to the castle, there were many things that he never seen. He became so greedy. He ordered many things. And then, he dreamed nightmare. Many people hated the boy who would be a king. Because they have to work like a slave in order to make things for the king. He noticed he was a greedy man, and he didn't want to wear good clothes, crawn, and so on. He wear old clothes and put on crawn that was made of briar. He went to the cathedral. The servants followed him. And then, people looked at God. The boy looked like a God!!

Second is "The Star-Child."One day woodcutters found a baby in the forest. One of woodcitter brought him to his house, and grow. The baby grow up a beutiful boy. However, the boy. He was very cruel, arrogant and selfish. He laughed at poor people. and often killed the animals. But he was so beautiful, mant chaidren followed him and do like the boy.One day, his mother found him but she was poor.He didn't go back with his mother. So, he hurted his mother because of his terrible words. After that, the boy became a ugly face. He noticed that is punishment. Then, he decided to look for his mother. He arrived one city, but he was an ugly child, so he took like a salave. He help the anmals and a man in spite of being beated by his orner. However, the poor man and his poor woman was the king and queen in this city. He returned before face and became the king.

I like these stories. They are not so long. However, they have deep means, I think. We have to think about discrimination and kindness. If we can communicate with anyone with kindness, the world will be peace.

Robin Hood ~BR2-02~

Today, I read "Robin Hood." This is a famous story, especially England. "Robin Hood" is a man. And then, perhaps he lived truly. I was attracted by his life.

Robin Fitzooth was born in the forest. His grandfather was opposed to Robin's parents marriage. Therefore his parents hide in the forest and live their life. After Robin was born, his father forgive their parents, so Robin could grow up smoothly. He became a lord of Gamwell and Locksley. He was a good lord, but not every lord was good. The Sheriff of Nottingham was the worst man. He was greedy and not kind. He took everything from villagers. Robin rob the money, food, and so on from rich man and give them to poor people. People appreciated him and called him "Robin Hood". One day, Robin fought with Sheriff and he had to leave his home in order to save poor people. He went back in the forest with his men. He made many friends and they fought with bad rich people. Robin save many poor people and people loved him so much.

I think he is a great person. He always consider about poor people. He save them in his life. His adventure was so dangerous. However he was never afraid of it. It is difficult to be hard for other people. I can do only about myself in my best. It is woeful, I know.In the future, I want to be a person who can help many peeople. I want to make many people happy like many people do for me.

Alice In Wonderland ( Book Review 2-01)

This story is so famous. I have liked this story since I was a child. I often read it, and watch this movie. This time, I read it in English.

One day, Alice found the rabit that had a clock. Alice felt strange, and she followed the rabit. Alice entered the wonderland. She looked beautiful garden. She wanted to go the gerden, but she was too big to through the door. She tried to enter the gerden, and meet strange people and animals, saw the many strange situations. One of them is Cheshire cat. The cat know everything. Alice can enter the garden because of him. And then, she met Queen. She was so stupit.Her favorite phrase was "Cut off his head!!" Alice was involved one trial. I read it in English. My memories was worng a little bit, so I could enjoy reading it. This attraction is strange animals and people. Their thinking was quiet different. It was so interesting. Especially I love Cheshire cat. He was so funny. His mysterious words makes the story interesting, I think.

I said once but this story is so famous. Everyone maybe know this, but they can't remember clearly. Why don't you read it again? You can find other interesting point in it.

Lovely Tales(BR 1-15)

This time, I read "American Folk Tales". The reason why I chose this book is I was attracted by this book cover. This is funny, isn't it? This book was written by George Gibson. There are three short American tales. I could read easily. I will talk about it!

First tale is "The legend of Jhonny Appleseed". This title is so funny, but I couldn't understand why George Gibson tiled like this at first. However, I noticed soon. Johnny's real name is John Chapman. He planted apple seeds all over America. He loved tales, animals, and their adventure. He liked people, and everyone liked him even animals. He traveled all over America and helped many people. I was moved by his life.

Second story is "Pecos Bill". Pecos Bill was boy's name. He separated from his family in the forest when he was a baby. However he was raised by coyote in the forest. That mean he spoke animal language, ate food like coyote, walk with his arms and feet, and so on. One day, he was found by a cowboy. He told to Bill that Bill was not coyote but human. Bill was so shocked, but he decided to live as a human. The cowboy traveled with Bill and Bill hoped to be cowboy. In the end, he could be a king of cowboy because he can talked with horses and he have courage more than other people. He thanked his coyote family.

Third is "The Tale of Brer Rabbit and the Tar Baby". This was a battle of wits between a Rabbit and a Fox. Their exchange was so funny. Rabbit always ticked many animals, so the Fox was annoyed. One day he made his mind to revenge to Rabbit. He made a "Tar Baby", it was a strange doll. He put it on the road, and waited for the Rabbit. Rabbit through the road, he spoke to the doll, but of course, it didn't speak anything. The Rabbit got angry, and attacked it. The doll tangled him, and the Rabbit couldn't move anymore. The Fox was happy because his operation succeeded. However, the Rabbit wanted to ran away, so he told the FOx, "Please don't throw me into the briar patch!" . However, in the fact , he wanted to do it because he could ran away. The Fox thought the behave was terrible for the Rabbit, so he did it! As the resalt, theRabbit won the battle.

This book was made for children I think because the tales funny and maybe many children like them! It makes me heart warming, happy, and pleasant. my favorite is first one. He was alive for the others and he could live full of life. Many people were saved by him, and happy, I thought. Besides, this book has many extra pases. I could learn aobut American life in this book. This book has many pictures, colors, diagrams. I could enjoy reading all of this book. For example, about American food, Settels, Foxs, Cowboys, and so on.

I didn't know about America before reading this books. If you are interested in American history, culture, life and so on, you should read this book. I can recomend this book all of my friends!!
