I will go to Halifax in Canada Do you know Halifax？ What do you know about Canada? Yes, you may know the name, but you don’t know detail. I didn’t know, either but this time I researched about them and I really want to go there early. I will share my information with you.
At first, I have to explain Canada because Halifax is in Canada, you know. The capital in Canada is Ottawa. Canada has many big cities. The biggest city is Toronto. The area is more than 9 million square km It is thirty times larger than Japan’s area. However, population is not so much. I is about 32 million because it is too cold to live northern place. In Toronto, there are one-sixth people live. The geology of Canada is interesting. Canada occupies the half of north in the New Continent. There are United States in South and West side of Canada. In the east side, there is Atlantic Ocean. Besides, there is Arctic Ocean in the north.
Canada has constitutional monarchy and federation is held under the parliamentary. The national chief of state is Queen Elizabeth II, but substantial prime minister is chosen as election. Actually, he does Canadian politics. I already said, Canada is so large country, so each states are given autonomy We can say Canadian government is municipality vs federation.
Canadian people speak English and French as official languages. It is set in 1982.
In Quebec, Ontario, New Brunswick states, they speak French. . Many races people live in Canada. English is 28%, French is 23%, the other Europeans 15%. Besides, there are many Asians, Arabs, Africans, and so on.And what important is Canada has chosen as the country which give good effect to all over the world. I mean Canada is friendly country and many people love Canada.
Next, I will talk about Canadian Culture. Canada don’t have their own culture, but the culture is interesting. It was made by mixing many cultures. I said many races people live in Canada. That’s why Canadian culture is fusion of various cultures. I have to introduce important literature. It is Anne of Green GablesJapanese title is 赤毛のアン.
Do you know it? It is so famous all over the world. Canada is stage of it.
Well, Canada has many heritage there are five cultural heritages and six natural heritages. Besides, two heritages are shared with the United States. I list the heritages, so please check them on your print.
Then, I want to talk about Halifax. Halifax is state capital in Novascoacia State. It was set on April 1st 1996 as Halifax Regional Municipality. Halifax’s Motto is Wealth from the sea. Yes, Halifax is port city. It is not big, but there are many nature and beautiful sea. However, there is so cold place. The temperature has amount to
Halifax is famous for Victim of Titanic, .Maritime Museum of the Atlantic, Halifax Citadel National Historic Site, and Saint Mary’s University. I want to introduce a few things.
First Saint Mary’s university is so great university. There are many students from all over the world. 14.4% students are exchange students. The area is not so large compare with other university in Canada, but there are many useful systems in the university. For example, we can go to the gym through the tonal without going gout side from dormitory. Even if it is winter, we don’t need pass outside. Modern equipments are used in this university.
And then, I want to introduce Halifax Citadel National Historic Site. Halifax is one of the first city that English people arrived in 1749. After that, England and French fought to get the religion. This place was important place for the English-French war.
I mean this is so important structure in these days. It is one of traditional things in Halifax. People can’t build the building that is higher than Citadel. That show many people save the structure.
Most of people don't know about Halifax. I want to interested in there because Halifax is so good city. There are many historical things and mordan structure stay there together. I am glad to be able to study there. It is not easy, I know, but I want to enjoy there!!

Significance of increase education spot ~News review~

Most of people don't care that where they are, how they live, and so on. We have too less knowledge about the earth. I want to introduce this web site "National Geographic Kids". If you see this site, you can discover what you didn't know. There are many good points to learn in this web site. I found this web site because of my teacher. He recommend this site when I told him that I like geography. Since then, I see this web site most of every day. I really like this web site. Now, I want to start introducing it.

You may be know many countries name, but do you know where they are? You should click the right place of the country in this game. Lovely Tales(BR 1-15)
This time, I read "American Folk Tales". The reason why I chose this book is I was attracted by this book cover. This is funny, isn't it? This book was written by George Gibson. There are three short American tales. I could read easily. I will talk about it!
First tale is "The legend of Jhonny Appleseed". This title is so funny, but I couldn't understand why George Gibson tiled like this at first. However, I noticed soon. Johnny's real name is John Chapman. He planted apple seeds all over America. He loved tales, animals, and their adventure. He liked people, and everyone liked him even animals. He traveled all over America and helped many people. I was moved by his life.
Second story is "Pecos Bill". Pecos Bill was boy's name. He separated from his family in the forest when he was a baby. However he was raised by coyote in the forest. That mean he spoke animal language, ate food like coyote, walk with his arms and feet, and so on. One day, he was found by a cowboy. He told to Bill that Bill was not coyote but human. Bill was so shocked, but he decided to live as a human. The cowboy traveled with Bill and Bill hoped to be cowboy. In the end, he could be a king of cowboy because he can talked with horses and he have courage more than other people. He thanked his coyote family.
Third is "The Tale of Brer Rabbit and the Tar Baby". This was a battle of wits between a Rabbit and a Fox. Their exchange was so funny. Rabbit always ticked many animals, so the Fox was annoyed. One day he made his mind to revenge to Rabbit. He made a "Tar Baby", it was a strange doll. He put it on the road, and waited for the Rabbit. Rabbit through the road, he spoke to the doll, but of course, it didn't speak anything. The Rabbit got angry, and attacked it. The doll tangled him, and the Rabbit couldn't move anymore. The Fox was happy because his operation succeeded. However, the Rabbit wanted to ran away, so he told the FOx, "Please don't throw me into the briar patch!" . However, in the fact , he wanted to do it because he could ran away. The Fox thought the behave was terrible for the Rabbit, so he did it! As the resalt, theRabbit won the battle.
This book was made for children I think because the tales funny and maybe many children like them! It makes me heart warming, happy, and pleasant. my favorite is first one. He was alive for the others and he could live full of life. Many people were saved by him, and happy, I thought. Besides, this book has many extra pases. I could learn aobut American life in this book. This book has many pictures, colors, diagrams. I could enjoy reading all of this book. For example, about American food, Settels, Foxs, Cowboys, and so on.
I didn't know about America before reading this books. If you are interested in American history, culture, life and so on, you should read this book. I can recomend this book all of my friends!!

Halifax!!
I will talk about Halifax in Canada today. I really want to go there. I'm taking the test in order to go abroad. I apply to "SMU" in Halifax. I will tell you why I am interested in there.
First, Halifax has many nature, history and modern buildings. I can see Halifax in many point of view. Nature and history is connected with culture. I can see thinking of Canadian by them, especially history. Halifax is oldest city where speaking English in Canada started. I mean when I see Halifax history, I can learn to start of Canada.
Second, Halifax is near the Prince-edoward island. It is model place of "Anne of Green Gables", written by L.M. Mongomeri. The picture is Anne's house. It is nice, isn't it? There are beautiful nature and I can see the view in the novel. It seem to dream!!
Finally, people are so friendly. There are many races in Canada, so they are generous even Japanese. Besides, they often hold volunteer. I want to attend it and communicate with many people. I think I can fell Canada on my body through my experiences.
I want to learn cultures, natures, history, and how to communicate with people. It will be hard life, but it will be good for me. I keep trying!!

Foreign Country
I have been to Australia when I was a high school student. I want to west side of Australia, Perth. Perth is big city, so I could enjoy shopping. However, Perth had good nature. There is beautiful sea, and people can swim in the sea even if it is winter. It is so amazing, isn't it? What is better, Australian was so kind and friendly. My host family was so good for me. They often talked with me, so I was so happy.
Next, I will go to Canada to study cultures. Canada is rich cultural country, so I will be able to see good point of many cultures. I heard about Canada from many people. Canada is beatiful especially in the fall. And then, Canadian is so friendly and kind. I hope to communicate with them in Canada. I really want to go to Canada. I will do my best in Canada.

My favorite contry!
Yesterday, I went to lecture about Australia. I want to go Australia in order to learn English and Australian culture. Australian teacher came to my university, and he had a lecture. It was so exciting for me because I love Australia!!
At first I will explain about why I love Australia. When I was high school student, I went to Australia with home stay. I had never been to foreign countries, so I was so excited. There are many beautiful sky and sea, many animals that we can't see in Japan, many people who are kind and friendly, and so on. The most impressive things for me was Rottenest island. I was moved that every thing were beautiful. Sky, sea, plants... It was so amazing! I could see the animal that you can't see only in this island. It was so cute.(Picture is that!)I could relax there and I liked Australia more than before.
Therefore, I think I want to go to Australia as exchanged student. It was so difficult because I have to pass the exam. However I want to see many things that I never seen, and I don't notice, by own my own. It is boring hearing about it. Seeing is believing.
So, I went to listening ti explanation about going abroad to Australia, and asked some questions to Australian teacher. I could know about important things. More things I hear, more interested In I have. I have to study not only English but also culture in order to enjoy going abroad.
