"Yes" or "No"

The Iraq war has continued since 2003. It is the war that was started because of 9.11. The American world Trade Center and The Pentagon were damaged by terrorist attacks Public opinions became conservative and George Bush, the American president, ordered on attack to Afghanistan. The war has no signs of finishing. Why doesn’t it finish?

In the movie, there is an important line, “Do you want to win the war, or not?” The Assistant to the President said that winning the war is the real righteousness. However it isn’t true because not all problems are solved through winning. The defected nation will be regarded as an evil country. Economic sanctions will be a serious problem. What’s worse, many people will die. Even if they win the war, the world will not be at peace. It means winning is not right. On the other hand, there is no meaning that all of the problems are solved when they withdraw from the war. America will lose trust and be able to only bow before the authority of Iraq insurgents. Although the war already has continued for a long time, it will be a hopeless war if any issues will be not solved.

What we hope is not winning or losing. We can’t answer clearly, “Yes” or “No”. The student named Ted wavered whether he should do something to change the world or not. Actually we will never make mistakes when we do nothing. However, is it right? No one can judge it. We can’t choose both Yes and No. That’s why the war doesn’t finish. People should be interested in it more, and face this serious problem.

About Iraq War ~MR~

I watched the movie whose title is " Lions for Lambs". This movie was really difficult, but I have to think about the war.

I want to explain about the story. First, there were three situations. One is in the presidential aide's room. Presidential aide and a woman who was a journalist are talked about new policy of the war. Presidential aide said it is important for America to win. She had some doubts to him, so continued the interview. Next is field in Afghanistan. Two students go there and fight in the dangerous place. They had big dream and tried the country. However, they couldn't achieve it, because they were killed by the enemy. Third situation was professor's office. The professor , who was the teacher of two student fighting in other place, called his lazy bt clever students and talked to him how to live.

After watching this movie, we have to think wether what is right or not. It was really difficult and serious. People always feel fear because of terror. I think we don't have to turn away the big problems. I hope the terrible war finish as soon as possible.

The Relationships with People ~ MR 2-01~

I watched the movie whose title was "Miss Doubtfire". This movie had a few important theme. They are relationships, communication, and Love for children. Today, I will talk about these. At the beginning, we have many relationships in the daily life. It affects communication, job, and so on. We can't avoid concerning with people in our lives, so how to have relationships is important. I will talk about three points for making good relationships.



First, we mustn't be selfish. Daniel, who is the main character in the movie, was selfish a little bit at the first time. He did whatever he wanted, so he lost his job and divorced. In the live, there were many irritation, desire, and so on. However, we have to control these emotions. Of course, you opinions are significant, so you can insist them. You have to know that to insist your opinion and get selfish are quiet different. In the movie, Daniel told his opinion for TV program to the director. It was great job, wasn't it? To insist the opinions appear because the person think of important things such as others, futures, and so on. Selfishness is for only yourself. The first dinner time, he would try to make his children stayed his house. That is his selfishness. If you are always selfish, no people respect you. People need some patience in the life.


Second, to be considerate makes good relationships. Daniel discovered his wife's hidden effort in his house keeping life. He noticed what important to think about others is. When he became Miss Doubtfire, he can listen to all of people carefully. All of people become cordial with him. I say not only to treat people kindly, but also to treat sometimes strictly. He scolded his children when they did wrong behaviors. To spoil is never consideration. Consideration is trying to be better for the people.


Finally, we need to keep having feeling of gratitude. The nearer person he or she is, the more we tend to forget to have it. Do you say "Thanks" to your close person, such as family? We feel it is natural that there are some helps from family. Then, we have to notice it is the most important in our life. Maybe most of people can't live without the closer person. Daniel didn't say it to his wife. Although she was always scolded instead of Daniel, he didn't have feeling of gratitude. After that, he noticed he made mistakes. Therefore, don't forget say "Thanks" to others. It makes your making relationships smoother.

Now, I want to tell about communication. You know, it is a kind of relationships, but also important for life. When you can make a good relationships, you have to keep it. The way is communication. When you communicate with others, you have to hear their opinion. Daniel and the producer of TV program talked each other and succeded. If you only insist what you want to say, people don't want to talk with you any more. communication is mutual things. It is made up each other not only you. Then, you can communicate whoever you want if you care of it.


The last important theme is love for children. In the movie, Daniel gave much love to his children. He really loved them, so the children also loved him even after the divorce. In growing up the children, the most important things is love. They don't need outward family. Even if there are many money, food and clothes, they can't stand loneliness. All of the poeple can't live alone even adults, so children need it surely. When children were gaven much love from their parents, they will give it their children. It is good circle, isn't it?

In conclusion, relationships, communications, and love for children are necessary for your lives.We should not be selfish, have consideration, and have feeling of gratitude to others. It you care there points, you can make good relationships in your life. We can't live alone. Therefore, we have to be concerned and communicate with people. You may be helped by many people even if you don't notice. You are so happy. then you have to give the happiness to your children. It will be great tresure for them.

"The last lecture"

This time, I want to introduce "The last lecture". I heard about this class through TV news. Many people look this class by You Tube. Actually, I was impressed by this teacher's story.

He is RandyPausch. He is a professor of Carnegie Mellon University. He taught his students computer science. However, he was pronounced on death by doctor. This last lecture is his last lecture. He assumed to know he would die. His life had been left only from three month to six month at that lecture. However, he had never make people feel sad. He never express his sadness. Now, he has been died.

He talked about how to realize own dreams through his life. When you hear the "lecture", you may feel boring. However, this lecture is fantastic!! I was given courage to face many difficulties. He always achieved his dream by himself. His talking teachnic was also great. I could laugh sometimes and I listened closely.

It is difficult to have your way. However, if we didn't anything, it would not come true. To challenge is so imprortant. Don't be afraid. Just do it. Maybe, he want to say such a thing. At first, I couldn't feel that his life was a little. He was pwerful, and his lecture was really fantastic. If you face big problem now, you should check this movie. You will be given some courage. His lecture was written on the book. Therefore, you can read it. That is long lecture a little bit, but it is worth to watch.

MR "The Notebook"

This time, I will write about "The Notebook". Japanese title is "Kimi ni yomu monogatari". I really moved this story. This movie was sad, but heart-warming. You can not help moving to tears, I think.

First, I will explain about story.There are a old woman in the hospital. She lost her memories. Then, there are a man who go to same hospital regularly. He read one love story for her. The women have not hear the story but she felt she know that story.

Here is the story. There was young lady who is rich and genius. Her name was Ally.She will go to first-class university. At the same time, there was a young man whose name was Noa. He was not rich, and he worked at field. They met at amusement park for the first time. Noa fell in love and approached to her. At first, Ally didn't like him because he came on strong. However, he was free and he really loved her. Therefore she also fascinated with him. They stayed together one summer. They were happy. They promised that Noa built his own white house and lived there with Ally. However, Ally had to go far because she would go to university. Besides her parents wanted Ally to saparate with Noa, because Noa was poor. Her parents took her to hometown. Ally and Noa separated without saying anything.

Noa didn't give up. He kept writing letters every day for 365 days. However, the letters didn't arrived her. After a year, finally he gave up, and they had not seen each other for a long time. One day Ally found the newspapre that was written about Noa's house. He built his white house. She had already engaged with the other man, Ron, at that time, but she really wanted to see him. She went to his house, and they met again. Her mother follwed her and told her to go back. In fact her mother stopped Noa's letter. Ally knew all truth. She had to choose, Noa or Ron.And then she made her mind...

The old man stopped reading here. The old woman wanted to read the last. However, she noticed about one things. She knew this story. Because this is her own story!! I mean the old man was Noa and the old woman was Ally. She remembered all of her life. But it was a moment. She forgot about it soon. Noa was so sad because She forgot about him soon. One night, he went to her and talked with her. At that time, she remembered him. Then they slept together with holding their each hands. Next morning a nurse found them. They were dead. However, they looked so happy.

I think, they loved each other. So, Noa could read the story again and again for her. He must have been sad. If I am forgotten by my important person, I'm really shocked. Noa didn't give up. Therefore, miracle was happened. I learned that it will be happened because people keep believing. I read this book, too. Both of movie and book are really interesting. I can reccomend it to everyone.

"The girl who go over time" ~ MR ~

I saw the movie today. It was Japanese animation movie, whose title was "The girl who go over time". It is not famous, I think. However, I like this movie, so I will write a review.

First, I will explain the character. The heroin was "Makoto Konno". She could go over the time. And then, her friends were "Chiaki" and "Kosuke". They were boys. Makoto, Chiaki, and Kousuke were best friends. Next is "Kazuko". She was Makoto's aunt and she always support Makoto.

Next, I will explain about the story. Makoto was a high school, second grade student. One day, she got skill to go over the time. She was surprised, but happy. She used the skill many times. She could eat delicious food again and again, stay at karaoke for the long time, remake her past if she made a mistake, and so on. At first, she thought nobody was not in trouble. However, her aunt imply about it. She said, "Somebody will be bothered due to your success."Makoto, Chiaki, and Kousuke were good friends, so they always stay together. Makoto believed they could be friends forever. However, It was not true. Kousuke and Chiaki made girlfriends because Makoto changed past a lot. And then, many people were bothered due to it. And then, she found the skill had limit. She felt so sorry. So she decided not to use it. she found the skill had limit.

One day she noticed the skill was Chiaki's!! Chiaki was a boy who came from future. He went over the time in order to look for one picture. The picture was lost in the Makoto's generation. He really wanted to see the picture and came to the present. However, he lost his tool which give the skill to go over the time, and Makoto had used it all. That mean Chiaki couldn't go home. Makoto thought she had to do anythings in order to save Chiaki, so she went to the past and found his tool, and gave it to Chiaki. However, it means she had to separate with Chiaki. Makoto promised to save the picture till the future, and said bye to him.

"Time wait for no one." This is a phrase in the movie. I think this is so important. We must not waste the time. Time can only pass. It never go back and stop. Everyone have thought that they want to start over their past once. However, of course it is impossible. It is not important to starting over. What important is how we live now. If we made mistake in the past, we can overcome now. It is the power to change the future. We can't change the past. Therefore, we live now so hard in order to go to the future.

This movie is animation, so it is easy to understand and enjoy. After watching this movie, you can live now harder. Everyone must notice how important now. "Time waits for no one." I will not forget this words forever.

"Clash" MR 1-03

In Japan, people feel there are no race problem. On the other hand, people feel there are race problem in America. However, it is true? Today, I will talk about the movie, "Clash". It is the movie about race discrimination.

There are many people in the movie. The police officers, a key seller, Iranian, Car thieves, TV directors, and so on. The people have no relationship, but the more accidents happened, the more connection people have. The thieves tried to steal TV director's car. The TV One of the thieves was killed by young White police man, and he have saved the TV directors before. Many people connect with happenings complexly. The happenings course by race problem and gun society.

I think what this movie want to say is we shouldn't judge the people only looks. How do you know the person is bad or good when you see him for the first time? Everyone is different from other people. This is only similarity among the people. Of course, you can't judge people by only looks. You should communicate with people because that is good way to know person. You can have many chances to make friends. You should not throw away this chance caused by discrimination. It is too silly idea, isn't it?

Actually there are little discrimination in Japan, but there are prejudice and stereotype in people's heart. People's point of view is contracted by prejudice and stereotype. There are many people who you can be friends. Everyone, one by one, should think about race problem more serious.

MR ~27 dresses~

I watched "27 dresses" last week. I have not told about it yet, so I will introduse the movie. "27 dresses" . This movie's director is a woman whose name is Anne Fletcher. I think she is good director. She is understanding woman's feeling, so I could agree with this movie.

First, I tell you this story. The heroine was Jane. She liked marriage ceremony. Planning marriage celemony was her life. She felt happy when people looked like happy. However, she was always a bridesmate! She had attended to her friends marriage ceremony, 27 times!! She had 27 dresses ,that she weared in the ceremonies, in her clozet and speculated about her happiness. Of course, she also wanted to be happy. She dreamed to be happy with her boss, James. However, she couldn't say her feeling because James fell in love with Jane's sister, Tess. And then, she have to plan their marriage celemony. It is so terrible, isn't it?? However, she couldn't say "No"to anyone because she always worked steadily and responsibly for other people. One day, she met Kebin. He was a reporter and interested in Jane's life. Since then, many happneing was occured. How is it solved? And Could she be happy?? Please check it.

Next, I tell my opinions. This movie make me think about what happiness is. Jane worked too hard for her impotant person. She forgot to think about herself. It appeared woman's daily feeling, I think. This story is written by Aline Brosh McKenna, and directed by Anne Fletcher. They are both woman, so this movie can show real woman's bother. Maybe most of woman hanker to be like Jane. However, I learned happiness will not come. If we want to be happy, we have to behave by ourselves. Jane was played by Katherine Heigl. She got married actually. She was so happy now, so she can play Jane perfectly, I guess. I felt happy with Jane.

Finally, this movie is included some comedy. When you watch it, you can laugh, cry, and feel happy. I really recommend you this movie.

Yesterday event

I hung out with my friend who live in Nagasaki yesterday. At first, we went shopping because it was rainy yesterday, so we could not walk outside. We looked a lot of things, but both of us didn't buy anything. We walked around about two hours and talk a lot. And then, we went to Star backs and drank hot coffee. It was little cool yesterday, so the coffee was so delicious.

In the afternoon, we went wathing movie. It was Japanese movie and I don't know English title. It was one girl and her dog story. They have ten promisies when she decided to have a dog. The movie moved us to tears. The dog was socute and smart. She made people so happy. I want to have a pet after watching the movie and I like animals more than before. I will have a pets in the future and make ten promise with the dog.Of course, I will keep the promises.

After that, we went to karaoke for two hours. We were so tired but had a good time. It was rain all day, but my heart was so fine. It was really nice day.
