Matilda ( book review1-06 )

Yesterday, I read "Matilda" , written by Roald Dahl. This was a novel, so I could read easily and smoothly.

Matilda was a very crever girl. She cn read newspeper when she was four years old. However her family, father, mother and older brother, were ao bad poeple. they sold phony cars. They thought that was clever. Therefore Matilda didn't be allow their parents to read books. However she want to the library and read many books there. Those books were too difficult for four years old girl, but she could read and understood them. When she entered school, she was the cleverest in her class. She could attend the higher class, so Ms.Honey told about Matilda to her aunt, Miss Trunchbull. Miss. Trunchbull was so mean and she did not like children. She did not allow Matilda to enter higher class. What is worse, she treated children so violently. Matilda got angry and she tried to stop her. Yes, she could do it because she was so clever and had a apecial power. She could move things without touching. Because of her help, Miss Trunchbull stopped her job, and children could be peaceful. Matilda's family went away because thier bad activities were coming out. However Matilda lived with Miss Honey, so she was so happy.

I thought bad activities were can not hide. If we do bad things, we get some penalty. On the other hand, we can get success if we do good things, like Matilda. She was honest and try hard. I think it is so hard. Sometimes it was no meaning, that mean, we can not success. However, what is important is trying hard and keep trying. I want to be honest and kind to others like Matilda.

Black Beauty ( book review1-05 )

I will write reading report again. This time, I read "Black Beauty". This story was written by Anna Swell. She was ill all her life, but she worry about the way people treated animals. "Black Beauty" is horse story. This story was talked by a horse, named Black Beauty. It is one of good point in this story. Having changed view, I could read this story. I felt I was a horse.

Black Beauty was born in the farm. At first, he lived with his mother. He was so smart and kind because his mother told him to be kind to the human. One day he was bought by other people. and then, he had to change his owner because of many reasons. Sometimes it was nice, but sometimes terrible. Some people were not kind. They treated him violently, for instance, he was pulled his rain strongly, flicked a whip again and again, worked too hard, and so on. Black Beauty often think he wanted to die. Of course he couldn't say anything to people because he was horse. However, he tried to make people happy. He always kind and he had never hated people. I think that is the reason why he could reach family who treated him so important. Finally, he could go back his house, where he was born.

I think people sometimes treat animals badly. They can not say anything. However we have to understand them. Animals give us a lot of things. Sometime they make us happy, and they become our partner. We have to feel gratitude for the animals. They also live in the earth and they work for the nature. We often break it. it is important to think hoe we help the animals because it is the same that how to save the earth. I love animals, so I am sad when I hear that there are a lot of animals which is threatened with extinction. I try to think what i should do for them more than before.

Yesterday event

I hung out with my friend who live in Nagasaki yesterday. At first, we went shopping because it was rainy yesterday, so we could not walk outside. We looked a lot of things, but both of us didn't buy anything. We walked around about two hours and talk a lot. And then, we went to Star backs and drank hot coffee. It was little cool yesterday, so the coffee was so delicious.

In the afternoon, we went wathing movie. It was Japanese movie and I don't know English title. It was one girl and her dog story. They have ten promisies when she decided to have a dog. The movie moved us to tears. The dog was socute and smart. She made people so happy. I want to have a pet after watching the movie and I like animals more than before. I will have a pets in the future and make ten promise with the dog.Of course, I will keep the promises.

After that, we went to karaoke for two hours. We were so tired but had a good time. It was rain all day, but my heart was so fine. It was really nice day.

Food For Thought ( book review1-04 )

On Wednesday, I went to library in school. I borrowed two books for this brog. Then I read "Food For Thought" this time. I thought about food a lot for the first time. Food is important for us. I think we should know about what we should eat and how the food make. I will explain about this story.

Joe wanted to spend the summer surfing, but he couldn't because his friend canceled it. He didn't have anything to do. Then his uncle asked him to help his farm during holiday. Joe didn't spend his holiday in the farm, but there were good beach near that farm. He decided to go the farm because he thought he can surf when he was free. His farm had a problem. Uncle Dave's rival used agricultual chemicals and produce a lot of vegetable, so thier vegetable was so cheap and people bought them. On the other hand, Uncle's farm grew organic vegitables thai is little expensive. He met two girls, Helen and Anna. Helen was rival's daugter. Anna helped Dave's farm. Two grils are not friend. Anna trashed Helen's farm vegitables. Of course, it was crime, but she want to protected farm. Joe thought how he should do uncle's farm and he had interested in food.

I didn't care about food, but there are many vegetables that is growen by agricultual chemical. You know, it has many problem about our health, environment, circle of life and so on. May be, there are less vegetables, that agricultual chemical is used, than before. If I have a chance, I want to try to spend in the farm because I can learn about natural vegitable and I can konw what non-agricultual chemical vegitable is good.

This time, I can notice a problem in my life by reading book. We have to think about it.

Today's event

Today, I went shopping with my friend. Her birthday will come soon, so I bought her birthday present. First, we looked clothes. I thought I should buy clothes, but, There were no clothes that she liked. And then, I went to see some bags. Some bags were so nice, but they were so expensive and she had bags enough. I gave up buying bags. I was confused because I didn't konw what she want. When I try to asked her about it, she looked at something and said, "This is so cute!" It was mug cup set. She was right, that was so cute. However she didn't buy it. Then I decided to buy it for her.
After that, we went to food court and talked. When we went home, I gave her present. She liked it, so I was really happy. I had a good day.

Yesterday Ibent

Yesterday was my special day. I met my junior high scool friends. We go to sperate school, so we have not met for a long time. At first, we went to watching movies, Golden Conpas. it was so interesting. It's plot was greatand special effect was also good. What is better, There are a lot of animals appeared. they were so cute and cool. I love animals, so I like this movie very much. This is based on a book, so I will read this book someday. And then, we went to "Edoichi", yakiniku shop, to eat dinner. Yesterday was one of friend's birthday, so we celebrate him. We ate, talk, drink a lot. It was a great time. Finally, we went to karaokefor one hour. It was very short time, but we could be satisfy.

We can not meet often because we live different places. It makes me so sad. However, I can feel inportance of friends when we meet.I have to appreciate them. I want to meet them again next vacation.

The Ring ( book review 1-03 )

This time, I read "The Ring", written by Bernard Smith. This is a story of mysterious happening in a small village. There was a crazy man, named Rafel, in the villege, but the man had been kind boy before. One day he became mad suddenly. Nobady knew why he became so mad. "I" was born in this village. He became a docter, so he researched why Rafel became crazy in order to cure his sick. The more research this mistery, the more strange. Anita, a beautiful girl, and the soldier, he loved Anita, disappered the day before Rafel became crazy. Rafel had a ring that Anita put on. "I" noticed Rafel killed them, but he had a alibi and he also loved Anita. How and why he killed them?

One day, "I" moved Rafel to the hospital, and he knew the truth. Rafel was not mad. He was not crazy, but he was sick. He told the story what happened at that night before he was dead. He would kill only the soldier. He trapped the soldier's boat and the soldier were killed by shark. However at that night, Anita also rode his boat. That mean she was also killed by shark. He cut the shark's stomach by accident, he found the ring that he gave for her. His mother covered up him, so he had an alibi. This was so sad truth.

I do not often read mystery novels, but this story was easy to read. Having thought a lot, I could read this book. I could read this book smoothly because the more the story go, the more excited I am. However, This was sad end. I don't like sad story. Next time, I will read happy story.
